Organizing files on Mac

Do you have any universal solutions for how to organize all the files on a Mac so that you can quickly find everything you need and not lose anything?

Folders? In my opinion, this is the most convenient solution. At least if we talk about photographs. I try to categorize all the photos, by dates, events, and it’s easy for me to find photos even after six months or a year.

I have no issues with organizing files on a Mac, and more often than not I find it extremely functional. However, there are times when I really can't find the app I'm looking for. There is a good thing about this, because I finally learned how to use the Finder and other ways to find apps on the Mac https://setapp.com/how-to/applications-folder-on-mac. It turned out that there are ways to quickly find both apps and any other files.
