NBA 2K has evolved from to a mere product

NBA 2K has evolved from to a mere product of hype in the gaming world. It's now a moment in culture that combines pop culture, music as well as fashion, sneakers and of course, basketball has elevated the game to levels that cannot be matched by other games. With the latest edition, NBA 2K23. the game broke the record when it announced J. Cole as the first ever rapper to appear on the cover NBA 2K with the Dreamer Edition. While it's definitely a surprise that 2K had a cover of this so late in its release, the overall trend of the game's own design may have hinted at this happening some day. Even with that being said this wasn't actually 2K's idea, it was J. Cole's.

This J. Cole cover is one of four covers on the new edition of 2K with the other ones featuring Michael Jordan, Devin Booker as well as a duo consisting of Sue Bird and Diana Taurasi.
